This year has seen many changes in the world of PR and marketing. GDPR is giving many of our clients a headache as they come to grips with their legal responsibilities in terms of getting consent for activities such as email marketing, and this in my opinion will give way to more emphasis being placed on social media marketing.
We are also seeing more and more brands expressing an interest in local news coverage, which is great for us. Many brands are seeking PR in its most traditional form, and I expect that this will continue way into 2018.I terms of Poppy-PR more widely, we will be focussing our attention on offering more blogger outreach work for brands, we will also be keen to promote our crisis communications service more widely, and securing clients further afield- something that we have been doing this year, which culminated in us securing our first client in the North West.
