We are delighted to announce that Tina Clough, owner of Poppy-PR has been nominated in two categories at this years’ Nottingham Post Women in Business Awards
Nominated for both the Rising Star Award, and the Small Business Award, Tina Clough (30) has been recognised for her recent achievements and business acumen by many of her current clients.
Tina said: “I feel honoured and very proud to have been nominated for the Women in Business Awards. Poppy-PR was established during the recession, and I made an active decision to keep the agency as small as possible during this time of economic instability. In the last 12 months, we have put our head above the parapet to be seen as a progressive agency that is now growing and attracting some big name clients. To be recognised for this, is fantastic for me personally, and for the business more generally.
“The last 12 months have been amazing for Poppy-PR. We have gone from working in a home office, and using freelancers, to opening a shop- fronted office on Bath Street in Ilkeston, taking on staff and increasing our portfolio of services. Opening our office was a very proud moment for us, and it was attended by 70 local business people and the Mayor of Erewash, who all wished us well in the next leg of our business journey.”
The glittering awards bash will take place on November 25th at The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Nottingham, with many inspirational women being recognised for their contribution to the local business community.
